Dr. Singh has been active in the field of sexual and reproductive health, health systems and governance, the study of population and development, youth programming, and organizational leadership and management for more than 20 years. He is a Doctor of Medicine and has a Masters Degree in Public Health. Dr. Singh started his career in the public sector. Later on transitioning to the development partners sector focusing on the issues of women, children and adolescents with organizations such as the Management Sciences for Health, Save the Children and Children International. Since 2012, Dr. Singh is working with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Philippines. As Programme Specialist, he provides technical expertise and oversight to UNFPA’s support to the Philippine Government in achieving the
transformational goals in ending Maternal Mortality, Family Planning Unmet Needs, Gender-Based Violence and Adolescent Pregnancies.
